American Sniper Chris Kyle American Sniper Chris Kyle: Life And Death Of The Most Lethal American Sniper (American Military History 1)

The name Chris Kyle is synonymous with bravery, skill, and unwavering dedication to protect his country. As an American Sniper, Kyle left an indelible mark on the battlefield, becoming a true legend behind the gun.

The Early Years

Christopher Scott Kyle was born on April 8, 1974, in Odessa, Texas. Growing up in a state that embodies the spirit of the Wild West, Kyle developed a love for firearms at an early age. His father, a Sunday school teacher and deacon, taught him how to shoot, instilling in him a strong sense of discipline and responsibility.

After graduating from high school, Kyle attended Tarleton State University, where he participated in the rodeo circuit. However, his dreams of becoming a professional cowboy were put on hold when he saw news coverage of the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center in New York City. Motivated by a desire to serve his country, Kyle decided to enlist in the United States Navy SEALs.
